It’s Quantum Sunday!
Throughout the week I post news, sometimes news that is unreported or under-reported in the mainstream, news which I feel is absolutely vital for us to understand if we are to change current trends which weaken our Constitutional liberties and violate human rights, while strengthening the powers of force here in the US and abroad. Taking an honest look at this news is difficult but it is fundamental to a government of, by, and for the people, that the citizenry be well-informed and proactive.
Yet, after an honest appraisal of what is actually happening in the world, what is the next step? We then have to enter a powerful solution phase, yet how?
I believe quantum physics can take us to the next level of solutions, and ultimately reveal to us and through us how we can change the world for the better. Therefore Hundredth Hummingbird is presenting, in an exploration into this theory, a 5 part, 5 Sunday presentation of the documentary film What the Bleep Do We Know; Down the Rabbit Hole, along with commentary about the possible applicability of the theories of quantum mechanics to the reversing of negative trends in national and world events and to promoting positive changes in our nation and our world.
In the film best-selling author Lynne McTaggart comments on unified field science comparing it to the traditional world view that we are each a separate entity, each responsible for ourselves, saying, “We’re realizing that this view of separateness is one of the most destructive things, it’s the thing that creates all the problems in the world, and we’re realizing that that paradigm is wrong, that we aren’t separate, we are all one, we are all together, at the very nethermost element of our being we are all connected, so we are trying to understand and absorb what are the implications of that…” Ms. McTaggart, however, isn’t being a philosopher here, nor a theologian, she is speaking based on the mathematical equations of quantum science, according to the math, we are all, literally, at some deeper level connected.
So in one manner, concerning world events, my take on it is this; we are one, therefore, for instance, a drone attack in Pakistan is a violation of ourselves. The war in Afghanistan is an onslaught of violence toward ourselves. Collectively turning a blind eye to corporate abuses the world over is to neglect our own beings, our own children, our land, sky, and waters. The only difference may be a time lag, when what we justify doing to others comes back to hit we who have sanctioned it, perhaps in some other form, an unrecognizable form, perhaps in some form of the law of attraction we receive what we give out, individually and as a collective body, as a nation.
It sounds in a way like the law of karma. It brings to mind the words of Jesus when he said, “Do unto others as ye would have them do unto you.” Perhaps he had a cosmic insight into what science is only beginning to understand, the operational unity of the quantum world, of our world, that somehow, at a subatomic level, what we do to others we do to ourselves.
In the film, Dr. Dean Radin Ph.D. compares the quantum world view to the traditional, mechanical, clockwork world view which most of us were raised to believe in, from a quantum perspective he theorizes, “The world is not this clockwork thing but it’s more like an organism, it’s a highly interconnected, organismic thing of some type which extends through space and time. In that kind of environment, what I think and the way that I behave has a much greater impact not only on myself but on the rest of the world than it would if it was a classical world. So from a very basic point of view having to do with morals and ethics, what I think affects the world, that’s in a sense really the key for why a world view change is important.”
It seems that, based on quantum mechanics, it is possible that thinking of solutions can perhaps, energetically, initiate the incipient manifestation of solutions, therefore indifference, in this paradigm, is a tremendous offense to the larger body of consciousness which we call creation.
In Part 3 of this presentation, Prof. Stuart Hammeroff M.D. discusses the nuts and bolts of solution making by introducing quantum terms such as Superposition, Wave/Particle Duality, Entanglement, Bose-Einstein Condensates, and the Collapse of the Wave Function.
Dr. John Hagelin Ph.D. explores the waves of potential electrons and he poses our question of what these waves actually are; he answers with, “…a universal ocean, an ocean of pure potentiality, an ocean of abstract potential existence, we call it the Unified Field or the Super Strength Field, and that’s what we’re made of! ”
Dr. William Tiller Ph.D. describes the unimaginable power contained within one atom and the potential for this energy to be used by our consciousness, stating, “…the vacuum within a single hydrogen atom….if I take that amount of vacuum and if I take the energy in that, there is a trillion times more energy there than in all of the mass of all of the stars and all of the planets out to twenty billion light years. That’s big, that’s big! And if consciousness allows you to control even a small fraction of that, creating a Big Bang is no problem.”
Is this what Christ and the avatars meant when they spoke of being one with God? Is it really a conscious awareness of this quantum oneness and this quantum expansion?
If we as individuals and collectively have this power within us, there is no question in my mind that we can effect peace in the world, we can alter the paradigm and bring about greater awareness of the very real need for peace, human rights, and social and economic justice, and it begins with the quantum faith that we can, it begins with knowing we must, for we are one, and believing we can for, according to the equations, we have the power within us.
